Why Do We Fund-raise?

Even though OCS provides great support for the band, extras that boost student achievement and support off campus activities can only be afforded through the fund-raising efforts of our students and parents.

By far, our largest fund raiser is working concessions at UNC Athletic Events. In the 2010-2011 school year, students and parents of the CRHS bands will staff
football and basketball stands. Click the concessions link to the right for more information on how to assist with concessions at UNC.

The money generated from working these events benefits ALL band programs and students at CRHS. 

The Boosters have several other fund-raising projects designed to meet our budgetary needs. 

Citrus/Fruit Sale - October 1-28 Delivery will be the first week of December.
You can place an order for fruit with any current band member.  If you do not know a current band member, send an email to patricia.quigley@orange.k12.nc.us and she will assist you with an order.
